Terms of service
Last updated October 22, 2026
You pay for a plan, you send newsletters only to people who asked for them, and you keep owning your content and your list. We send your emails, keep your data safe, and may pause sending that hurts deliverability for everyone. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our reseller.
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Lowsend Technologies LLC ("lowsend", "we", "us"), a company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. They cover lowsend.com, the dashboard at app.lowsend.com, the API, the MCP server and the newsletter websites we host (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms, our Privacy policy, our Acceptable use policy and our Cancellation and refunds policy. If you use lowsend for a company, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you can.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
2. What lowsend does
lowsend lets you write newsletters, collect subscribers, send campaigns by email and publish them on a website. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ in how many emails you can send each month and how many active subscribers you can have.
We may improve, change or remove parts of the Service. If a change takes away something you rely on in a significant way, we'll tell you in advance.
3. Your account
- You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep access to that inbox secure: whoever controls it controls your account.
- Keep your API keys secret. Actions taken with your keys, or by AI agents you connect, count as yours.
- Give us accurate information and keep your email address up to date: we use it for billing, security and service notices.
- One person or organization per account. Don't create accounts to get around limits or a suspension.
4. Plans, payments and taxes
Plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in US dollars, starting at $19 a month. Current prices and limits are on our pricing page.
- Reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, who also handles payments, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and payment-related customer service. When you buy a plan you also accept Dodo Payments' terms of sale.
- Taxes. Prices don't include taxes. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
- Changing plans. Upgrades apply at once and the price difference for the rest of the period is charged then. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
- Limits. Every email we send for you counts towards your monthly allowance, including test, confirmation and welcome emails. When it runs out, new sends wait until you upgrade or your next month starts; signups and confirmation emails keep working. If your active subscribers go over your plan, sending waits until you upgrade.
- Failed payments. If a renewal fails, sending stops until the payment goes through. If it isn't settled, the subscription ends and your website and signup forms go offline.
- Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, as described in our Cancellation and refunds policy.
- Price changes. We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your subscription. It applies from your next renewal after that.
5. Sending rules
Every customer shares our sending reputation, so these rules protect your emails as much as anyone's. Our Acceptable use policy has the full rules. In short:
- Email only people who asked to hear from you. No bought, rented, scraped or shared lists.
- Follow the email and privacy laws that apply to you and your readers, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, the UK GDPR, CASL and the ePrivacy rules: identify yourself, include a valid postal address, and honor unsubscribes.
- We add an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe headers to your emails and process unsubscribes, bounces and spam complaints automatically. Don't remove or hide them.
- We send new contacts in a small first batch and watch bounce and spam-complaint rates. A campaign pauses on its own when they get too high, and your account may be paused while we review it.
6. Your content and your data
You own your content: your newsletters, campaigns, images, websites and subscriber lists ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, send and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including publishing what you choose to publish on your newsletter's website.
You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights and the consent it needs. For personal data of your subscribers, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy policy.
You can export your data or ask us to delete it at any time by writing to hello@lowsend.com.
7. Suspension and termination
We may pause sending, suspend or close an account, without refund, when:
- it breaks these terms or the Acceptable use policy;
- its bounce or spam-complaint rates put deliverability at risk for other customers;
- it's used for fraud, phishing, malware or anything illegal;
- we're required to by law or by our providers.
When we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription anytime. After your subscription ends, your data stays in your account so you can come back, unless you ask us to delete it.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep lowsend running and your emails delivered, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Email delivery depends on mailbox providers we don't control, and we can't guarantee that every email reaches the inbox. Support is available by email at hello@lowsend.com.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims, fines and costs arising from Your Content, from the emails you send through lowsend, or from your breach of these terms or of the law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them in your own courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll email you at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
